Tony's La Pizzeria has been part of the Cedar Valley since 1958 — a family-owned pizzeria built on honest craft and recipes that have stayed true through every decade.
Started on Sycamore
Tony's opened its doors in 1958 on Sycamore Street, serving Cedar Valley families from the very beginning. The recipes were straightforward and the commitment to quality was absolute — and both have carried forward ever since.
The move to Main Street
When Tony's relocated to Main Street, it brought everything that made it worth coming back to. The address changed; the pizza didn't.
Made from scratch, every day
Dough is made fresh on the premises each morning, the sauces in-house, and the Iowa pork for the house sausage ground weekly. No shortcuts — just daily habits that make the difference.
The oven at the center
The brick oven has been the heart of the kitchen since the beginning, and every pizza that comes out of it reflects the same standard: fresh ingredients, family-tested proportions, and time given to get it right.
Cedar Valley's gathering place
Generations of families have come through the door on Main Street — for weeknight dinners, birthday celebrations, and everything in between. Tony's is still here, still making pizza the way Tony's makes pizza.
